About This Release
Wide Angle Recordings’ newest face and one of Russia’s hottest emerging talents makes his label debut with a thick and lustrous 3 track EP. Mikh Solvis’ Mountains and Lanscapes combines viciously deep basslines with sparkling highs and friendly melodies. The result is a summer-ready dancefloor EP that is already finding its way into the sets of Sander Kleinenberg and Markus Schulz.
Further or Yes opens the EP with a thunderous kick and a perfectly matched uplifting bassline. An arry of crisp percussion carries you through to track’s warm melody, which is accompanied by a finely balanced mix of pads and effects. The EP’s title track borrows deeper as Mikh Solvis focuses on the low end frequencies. Mountains and Lanscapes provides a thick and heavy bassline as a foundation to sublime atmospheric pads. Mikh Solvis closes out the EP with Snowballs, a melodic deep progressive track complete with crisp stabs and smooth vocals.
