About This Release
Following his stunning debut album Last Day, Mauro Norti returns to Wide Angle Recordings in exceptional company. Veteran producer Oliver Lieb alongside label familiars Max Cooper and Travis MacDonald deliver what is arguably the most versatile and dynamic release of the year. All three producers showcase their unique character through three genre-defying remixes that will be lighting up dancefloors around the world.
With a career spanning two decades and releases gracing the world’s top record labels, Oliver Lieb needs little introduction among dance music enthusiasts. His experience and expertise shines in every one of his productions and his remix of Last Day in no exception. The subtle perfection in the composition, the distinct interaction between the bassline and elements from the original mix, and the carefully planned nuances throughout the track make the Oliver Lieb Remix of Last Day a highly powerful dancefloor weapon at any time in the night.
Global phenomenon Max Cooper returns to the label with the signature sound that has catapulted him into the dance music elite. The Max Cooper Remix of You and Me contorts the original mix in a way that both delivers and relieves tension almost simultaneously. Warm, lush pads transform across a field of atmospheric percussive elements while the gentle melody plucks along effortlessly, as if totally unaware of the complexities unfolding underneath. In custom Max Cooper form, his remix of You and Me is an emotional, transcedning ride through dance music.
Wide Angle Recordings’ artist Travis MacDonald also returns to the label with his own dominant reinterpretation of Aphasia. Consistenly delivering dancefloor bombs, Travis MacDonald pushes Aphasia squarely into the club’s face with a monstorous kick, heavy bassline, and hyptnoic pads.
With a blend of seasoned experience, innovative ideas, and massive club appeal, Mauro Norti Remixed is set to become a tremendously popular release among DJs and fans alike.
